If you own an extra-wide RV's you should check its width before booking. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. Up top we have roosters that make noise about 5 am. There are no large animals in those areas, but chickens do make noises. We do have 1 cow and goats in this field.Ĭamping areas that people have liked are up top by the top field gate, or down in the field that our large chicken coop is in. Cleared spots available in the non-snow months are small so tent camping only. Huge windy driveway can accommodate rv campers.Ī creek runs through the front of the property year-round. You can also add extra sleeping structures under the extra tab. Reserve a spot and then add any additional tents/rv/vehicles used for sleeping, that will be with you as an additional guest. We are open year-round but make sure your tires can handle our terrain. Keep in mind that winter brings snow, and we have a small bridge to cross and a slanted driveway. We can host many people but only want one group at a time. However, we didn't feel welcomed here. Our place is 28 acres, and you can camp anywhere. Agree with other reviews that the campground is beautiful, grassy, and great wide spots. Had we not already set up our trailer, we probably would have left - it was a bad feeling and we never felt comfortable at this campground. But it would have been much better received had he handed us the rules and asked that make sure we follow them rather than reading each one to us and threatening us with eviction if we don't follow them. I understand that Dave wants to insure the protection of his property and his permanent tenants. We camped at two other campgrounds on this trip and neither one overstated or even stated what their rules were or what the ramifications were if they were not followed. Having two dogs we always assume the campground has strict rules regarding the care of and pick-up after your dogs. We have camped at many campgrounds with some having strict rules. We set up our trailer and we went back to see Dave and complete our check-in. Dave wasn't around when we arrived but their was a note with our name and the spot we were reserved. Oh and it was fairly close to several wineries we wanted to visit. We reserved this park several months ago because the grounds looked lovely, full hook-ups, and a great view of the river. Overall, if we were going back to that area of Idaho we all agreed we would definitely stay there again. The water tastes funky but it’s not dangerous. Beautiful, quiet, they allow dogs on leashes, right next to the river and reasonably priced. There are quite a lot of mosquitos but I expect that next to a river and with all the lawn watering. They have a nice covered pavilion for group get-togethers. You park your RV and vehicle on the grass and each site has full hookups and include a folding picnic table and a fire pit. Apparently there is no water shortage in Idaho. They water every unoccupied site almost constantly. The owner is absolutely obsessed with keeping the grass green and beautiful and the sprinklers going 15 hours a day contributes greatly to this. The entire park is grass covered, green and lush and shaded by mature trees and right next to the Snake River. We stayed for a week in this beautiful park a few weeks ago with our RV group from California.
